The first step is to identify and document all
business-critical technology. Then you can put in
place special protections and backups in case of
failure. But according to our survey data, more
than a third of businesses have not done this. Small
businesses and those in the industrials and life
sciences sectors are least likely to have identified
their key technology.
The next step is to determine what may cause that
business-critical technology to fail and identify the
risks this may pose to the wider business.
